There's a real shortage of good CAs across South East Queensland right now, and it's shifted the balance in candidates' favour. Builders are sharpening their offers, widening their pipelines, and moving faster on hiring than they have in years.

Unite Construction is currently recruiting across a spread of SEQ builders, from tightly run boutique fitout specialists to established national contractors, spanning Graduate through to Senior CA level. Current openings:

• Graduate CA, Commercial Fitout A structured entry point with a builder that's built its reputation on mentoring. You'll be learning directly from senior operators from day one.
• CA (Mid-Level), Fitout, ~$10M Solid live pipeline, upper-tier lineage in the leadership team. A good move if you're ready to take more ownership of your packages.
• CA (Mid-Level), Commercial Refurb & New Build, up to $30M Hospitality-sector builder running both refurb and new-build work concurrently, suits someone who can move between the two comfortably.
• CA (Mid-Level), Fitout/Refurb, up to $3M Comes with a leadership component, you'd be mentoring a cadet and a junior CA. Good if you're ready to start proving you can manage people, not just packages.
• CA (Mid-Level), Fitout, Refurb & New Build Strong forward pipeline with a builder that has a genuine, structured approach to developing its CAs over time.
• CA (Mid-Level), D&C Commercial Fitout, Workplace Sector Design and construct delivery for a builder specialising in workplace fitouts, a good fit if you enjoy the pace and collaboration that comes with D&C.
• Senior CA (2IC to CM), Fitout, Refurb & New Build Positioned directly under the CM with real visibility into that role. If Construction Manager is the next rung on your ladder, this is built for it.

Builders we work with aren't just after someone who can tick off the technical requirements. They want people who take ownership of their packages, who communicate clearly with subbies and site teams without needing to be chased, and who genuinely care about getting the numbers right the first time.
